Yecapixtla

Yecapixtla is a town and municipality situated in the northeastern region of the state of Morelos in central Mexico. The name Yecapixtla translates to "Land of men and women with sharp noses."

The location is notable for housing one of the monastery complexes included in the Monasteries on the Slopes of Popocatépetl World Heritage Site. Additionally, the town is well-known for its production of cecina, a type of beef.
