Tepoztlán is a town located in the central Mexican state of Morelos. It is situated at the coordinates 18°59′07″N 99°05′59″W within the heart of the Tepoztlán Valley.
The town serves as the seat of government for the municipality of Tepoztlán. According to the 2010 national census, the municipality reported a population of 41,629 inhabitants, while the town itself had a population of 14,130.
