Ocuituco is a town and the municipal head for the Municipality of Ocuituco located in the Mexican state of Morelos. Situated at an elevation of 1,920 meters above sea level, it is considered one of the municipalities within the "Los altos de Morelos" region. The name originates from the Nahuatl word Okuiltoco, which translates to "Where there are weevils."
The municipality includes several other towns, such as Huejotengo, Huecahuaxco, Huepalcalco, Metepec, and Ocoxaltepec, along with various smaller settlements. Geographically, Ocuituco is bordered by the state of México to the north, Zacualpan to the southeast, Tetela del Volcán to the east, and Yecapixtla to the southwest.
