Tiquicheo de Nicolás Romero is a municipality located in the Mexican state of Michoacán. The area covers approximately 1,429.65 square kilometres and serves as the administrative region for the city of Tiquicheo, which functions as its municipal seat.
The municipality is bordered by several neighboring regions: Tzitzio to the north, Tuzantla and the state of México to the east, San Lucas, Huetamo, and the state of Guerrero to the south, and Carácuaro and Madero to the west. According to the 2005 census, the municipality had a population of 13,665 inhabitants.
