Tingambato is a municipality located in the Mexican state of Michoacán. It serves as its own municipal seat and covers a total area of 188.77 square kilometres.
The municipality is bordered by Nahuatzén and Erongarícuaro to the north, Pátzcuaro and Salvador Escalante to the east, Ziracuaretiro to the south, and Uruapan to the west. According to the 2015 census, the population of the municipality was 17,630 inhabitants.
