La Piedad de Cabadas is a city and the municipal seat of La Piedad, located in the northwestern region of the Mexican state of Michoacán. It serves as the northernmost municipality within the state and shares borders with the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato.
The municipality covers an area of 284.11 km² and had a population of 106,490 inhabitants according to the 2020 census. Historically, the colonial name for the area was San Sebastián. The city is situated along the Lerma River, which it straddles alongside the neighboring town of Santa Ana Pacueco in Guanajuato.
