San Jose Villa de Allende is a town and the municipal seat of the municipality of Villa de Allende in Mexico. It serves as one of the primary administrative centers for the region and ranks as the fifth largest town within its municipality.
The town is situated approximately 70 kilometers west of the city of Toluca. The municipality was named in honor of Ignacio Allende, a prominent hero of the Mexican War of Independence.
