Los Reyes Acaquilpan is a town located in the State of Mexico, Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat for the municipality of La Paz.
The area is situated on the dividing line between the State of Mexico and the eastern edge of the Federal District, forming part of the Greater Mexico City area. Historically, the region was known as "Atlicpac," a Náhuatl name meaning "above or at the edge of water." The current municipality's glyph reflects this history by symbolizing water.
