Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, frequently referred to as Neza, is a city and the municipal seat of the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl in Mexico. It is situated within the state of Mexico and is located adjacent to the east side of Mexico City.
The municipality holds its own distinct intrastate region designated as Region IX. It serves as a significant urban area positioned on the outskirts of the nation's capital.
