Totatiche is a municipality and town located in the northern extreme of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is situated at an elevation of 1,751 meters (5,745 ft) above sea level, positioned between the coordinates of 21° 48' 30" to 22° 06' 00" latitude north and 103° 20' 00" to 103° 34' 00" longitude east.
The municipality is bordered on the north and southeast by the state of Zacatecas. To the northeast, it shares a border with the municipality of Colotlán, while its western boundaries are formed by the municipalities of Villa Guerrero and Chimaltitán.
