Atemajac de Brizuela is a municipality and small town located in the southeast sierra region of Jalisco, Mexico. It is situated approximately 64 kilometers southwest of Guadalajara, positioned between Highways 80 and 401.
As of 2014, the municipality had a recorded population of 6,367 residents. The area is characterized by its location within the mountainous sierra landscape of the state.
