Cuajinicuilapa is a city located in the Costa Chica region of the Mexican state of Guerrero. It serves as the head town of its namesake municipality, which is situated in a low-lying area bordering both the Pacific Ocean and the state of Oaxaca.

The municipality is notable for having the largest population of Afro-Mexicans in the state of Guerrero, with most of this ethnic group residing within the area. Economically, the region is highly socioeconomically marginalized and ranks as the poorest municipality in the state, with an economy primarily dependent on fishing and livestock.
