Cuerámaro is a city located in the southwestern region of the Mexican state of Guanajuato. The municipality covers a total area of 254.85 square kilometres and serves as a local geographic point within the state's interior.
The municipality is bordered by several neighboring areas, including Romita to the north, Abasolo to the east, Pénjamo to the south, and Manuel Doblado to the west. According to data from the 2005 census, the population of Cuerámaro was recorded at 25,610 inhabitants.
