Coroneo is a town and municipality situated in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. It covers a total land area of 122.90 square kilometres.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring regions, including the state of Querétaro to the north and east, the state of Michoacán to the south, and the municipality of Jerécuaro to the west. According to the 2020 census, Coroneo had a population of 11,083 inhabitants.
