Santiago Papasquiaro is a city located in a valley on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Madre Occidental in the Mexican state of Durango. It serves as the municipal seat for the municipality of Santiago Papasquiaro, which covers an area of 7,238.4 km2.
The city is the fourth largest community in the state by population. As of 2010, the city had a population of 26,121, while the broader municipality recorded a census population of 48,482 in 2015.
