Álvaro Obregón Salido was a prominent Mexican general, inventor, and politician who played a significant role in the country's history during the early 20th century.
He served as the 46th President of Mexico from 1920 to 1924. Although he was re-elected to the presidency in 1928, Obregón was assassinated before he could officially take office for his second term.
