Sierra Mojada is a city and the seat of the municipality of Sierra Mojada located in the north-eastern Mexican state of Coahuila. It serves as a local administrative center within the region.
The town is notable for its connection to local oral tradition regarding the American author Ambrose Bierce. According to accounts documented by priest James Lienert, it is claimed that Bierce, who disappeared in 1913, was executed by firing squad in the town's cemetery.
