Sabinas is a city located in the northeastern quadrant of the state of Coahuila, Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat for the Sabinas Municipality, which covers an area of 2,345.2 km².
According to the 2005 census, the city had a population of 47,933, while the surrounding municipality recorded a total population of 53,042. The primary communities within this municipality include the towns of Cloete and Agujita.
