Morelos, officially known as the Free and Sovereign State of Morelos, is a landlocked state located in south-central Mexico. It serves as one of the 32 states that comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico.
The state is divided into 36 municipalities, with Cuernavaca serving as its capital city.
