Zumar, also known as Zemar or Zummar, is an Iraqi subdistrict situated in the northern region of the Nineveh Governorate. It serves as the administrative seat for its namesake town.
The local population is composed of a mix of Arabs and Kurds. The primary economic activity in the area is agriculture, with wheat serving as the principal crop produced by the residents.
