Jaj is a mountainous village located in the Byblos District of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate in Lebanon. Situated approximately 68 kilometers north of Beirut, the village covers a total land area of 1,174 hectares and sits at an average elevation of 1,220 meters above sea level.
The population of Jaj is predominantly Maronite Catholic. The village is notably characterized by its high-altitude mountain environment, which is known for its cedar trees.
