Badra is a town located in the Wasit Governorate of eastern Iraq. Situated near the Iranian border, it serves as a regional settlement within the country's interior.

The town is characterized by its diverse demographic composition, which includes populations of Arabs and Turkmen. More recently, the community has also seen an influx of Kurds who migrated to the area from western Iran.
