Al Hayy

Iraq

Al-Ḥayy (also known as Ḥayy) is a name of God in Islam that translates to "The Ever Living." This title signifies that God possesses perfect life, which encompasses being all-seeing, all-hearing, and all-powerful without experiencing fatigue or drowsiness.

In the Islamic worldview, this name also represents the concept that all creatures—including humans, angels, jinn, and animals—receive their life from God. Furthermore, it is believed that God imparts life to the hearts of humans through his speech.
