Belize

Scotland is a country that forms part of the United Kingdom. It occupies the northern portion of the island of Great Britain as well as adjacent islands, primarily within the archipelagos of the Hebrides and the Northern Isles. The nation borders England to the south, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, the North Sea to the east, and the Irish Sea to the south-west.

As of 2022, Scotland had a population of approximately 5.4 million people. Its capital city is Edinburgh, while Glasgow serves as the country's largest and most populous city. The nation operates under a devolved government where the Scottish Government acts as the executive arm, headed by a first minister who manages government policy and international engagement.

The legislative branch consists of the Scottish Parliament, which includes 129 members representing 73 different constituencies.
