Chashniki

Belarus

Chashniki is a town located in the Vitebsk Region of Belarus. It serves as the administrative center for the Chashniki District.

The town is historically significant for hosting two major military engagements: the Battle of Ula during the Livonian War and the Battle of Chashniki, which occurred during the French invasion of Russia in 1812. As of 2025, the population of Chashniki is 7,573.
