Barysaw, also known as Borisov, is a city located in the Minsk Region of central Belarus. It serves as the administrative center for the Barysaw District and is situated on the banks of the Berezina River.
The city is positioned approximately 74 kilometres (46 miles) north-east of the Belarusian capital, Minsk. As of 2026, the population of Barysaw is recorded at 133,700.
