Mazyr, also known as Mozyr, is a city located in the Gomel Region in southern Belarus. It serves as the administrative center for the Mazyr District and is situated on the Pripyat River.
The city is positioned approximately 210 kilometres east of Pinsk and 100 kilometres northwest of Chernobyl in Ukraine. As of 2025, the population of Mazyr is 104,517.
