Pinsk

Pinsk is a city located in the Brest Region of southern Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of the Pinsk District, although it remains administratively separate from the district itself. The city is situated southwest of Minsk within the historical region of Polesia.

Geographically, Pinsk is positioned at the confluence of the Pina River and the Pripyat River. The surrounding area was historically known as the Pinsk Marshes. As of 2026, the city has a population of 123,283.
