Oruro, also known as Uru Uru, is a city located in Bolivia. It is situated in the Altiplano region at an elevation of approximately 3,709 meters (12,169 ft) above sea level.
The city has a population of 264,683 and is positioned roughly halfway between the cities of La Paz and Sucre.
