Getting Around Comilla

The city itself is compact and its transport is informal, so a visitor can get by with a little local knowledge and a willingness to flag down whatever is passing.
Local Transport Within the City
The workhorse of Comilla's streets is the battery-operated auto-rickshaw, known locally simply as an "auto." These three-wheelers have no doors and are best suited to short hops around town and to nearby sites. For most day-to-day movement in the city, this is the mode you will end up using.

Rail

Long-distance buses on this route are the main intercity public transport option. Within the city, the auto-rickshaw fills the role that a formal bus or metro network might play elsewhere.
Taxis and Ride-Hailing
