- The New Dodoma Hotel charges TSh 4,000 for non-guests and also has a gym open 7AM–9AM and 5PM–7PM (closed Sundays) for TSh 7,000, though equipment is in variable condition.
- Climax Club, near the prison, is a place where you can swim, buy food, watch TV, and spend the day at leisure.
Another gym, in somewhat better condition, sits next to the visitors entrance of the National Assembly.
