Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto Shrine in Graceville, identifiable by its distinctive spire, attracts pilgrims especially during Holy Week. The site was designed with curving ramps for devotional processions, though visitors should note that access to some areas is currently restricted.

A one-hour trek through Barangay San Isidro leads to Kaytitinga Falls, where water drops in a landscape less visited than other waterfall sites in the region—the trail remains undeveloped, which means fewer crowds but also means you should come prepared and bring your own supplies, as public facilities are not available. The walk rewards effort with the sound and sight of falling water in forest surroundings.
Angat Watershed Forest Reserve extends partially into San Jose del Monte's eastern reaches and ranks among the most biodiverse zones in Central Luzon. River Park Esplanade sits along the San Jose River at the back of City Hall on Norzagaray Road in Dulong Bayan, with an amphitheater overlooking the water.

Trails to Mount Balagbag and Kaytitinga Falls are best attempted during the drier months when ground conditions are more stable.
San Jose del Monte sits 30 kilometres from Manila and 65 kilometres from Malolos, making it accessible as either a day excursion or a longer stay.
