Getting around

Plan on road-based transport instead: local city buses, intercity buses, taxis, ride-hailing apps, and your own two feet. Hưng Yên Bus Station (Bến xe Hưng Yên) on Nguyen Van Linh Street is your transport anchor, handling both local and intercity services and acting as the interchange point if you arrive from elsewhere and continue into the city. It sits roughly a couple of kilometres from the city centre — close enough for a short taxi or motorbike ride, but generally too far to walk with luggage. Taxis wait at the station entrance, which is the easiest way to reach the centre or your accommodation on arrival, and the station area is well maintained with adequate lighting, so arriving in the evening is not a particular concern.

Three days in Hung Yen

Day one: Start in Hưng Yên City and take time to plan your route before heading out, since the sights are spread across the province. From Hưng Yên Bus Station you can reach the city centre easily, and taxis are available if you prefer not to walk. Nguyen Van Linh Street is a good orientation point for your first wander. If you need cash, look for an ATM along the way, and buy supplies for the days ahead.

Day two: Head to Bến and explore the riverside area at an unhurried pace. Walking is the best way to take in the surroundings, and you can plan the rest of your day around what you find there. If you need to return to Hưng Yên City, taxis make the trip straightforward.

Day three: Spend your final day back in Hưng Yên City, filling any gaps in your plan and buying anything you want to take home. There is an ATM in the city if you need one before leaving, and Hưng Yên Bus Station is your departure point for the journey onward.
