Three days in Kira
Day one: Start by getting your bearings in Kira Town, a growing settlement in Wakiso District within Uganda's Central Region. The town sits close to the capital, so it works well as a base while you adjust to the pace of the Central Region. Spend your first day walking the main streets and market areas to get a feel for daily life in Kira Town Council.
Day two: Use Kira Town as your starting point for exploring Wakiso District, the wider area that surrounds the town. The district's roads connect you to nearby trading centres and residential neighbourhoods, each with its own character. Return to Kira Town in the evening, when the streets are busy and the town feels most alive.
Day three: Slow down and revisit the parts of Kira Town you liked best. If you still have time, take a short trip into the surrounding parts of Wakiso District before heading back. End your stay in the Central Region with a final look around Kira Town Council, the administrative heart of the town.
