Getting around

Slavutych metro station, on the M3 (Syretsko-Pecherska) line toward the Chervonyi Khutir terminus, is your anchor: it is a few minutes on foot from the complex and connects you onward into the rest of Kyiv. Osokorky, on the same line, is a noticeably longer walk, so aim for Slavutych unless Osokorky better suits the rest of your journey. Check the direction of travel before boarding. Metro service starts in the early morning and runs until late evening, but confirm the day's schedule locally before relying on a late trip.

Buses fill in the gaps, and the closest stop is the one by Slavutych metro station. Routes 22, 35 and 91 stop nearest the complex and are the most useful if you are starting from Zarichnyi; other routes serving the area head toward the Aviation Museum, Urlivska Street, Pozniaky Market, Yelyzavety Chavdar Street, Boryspilska metro station and Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Street. Shuttle 425 has its own stop near Slavutych, a slightly longer walk than the bus stop; shuttles fill up and stop on request, so have small change ready and signal the driver when you want to get off. For door-to-door trips, especially late at night or with luggage, taxis and ride-hailing apps are the most flexible choice — agree the fare or confirm the app price first, and use a reputable app or licensed taxi rather than an unmarked car.

Zarichnyi is a walkable base: the metro, main bus stop and shuttle stop are all a short stroll away, and local landmarks including the Slavutych Beach Club, the Riviera area, St. John the Apostle Temple, the football field and the South Bridge parking area are in the same neighbourhood. For the airport, take bus route 535 to Boryspilska metro station and continue by metro, or take a taxi or ride-hailing car straight to Zarichnyi or Slavutych station. Buy metro tickets or passes at the station, keep small change or a contactless payment method for buses and shuttles, and check schedules on the day of travel, since published times are indicative and can change.
