Getting there

One bus route connects you to the Qionghai City Government and the Qionghai Railway Station, while the other serves the areas of Bo'ao and Tanmen.

Alternatively, you can reach the city by train at the Qionghai Railway Station, where buses are available to take you into the downtown area. If you arrive by bus at the Qionghai Bus Station, you will find yourself near the Red Detachment of Women statue.

You will experience a tropical monsoon climate in Qionghai, characterized by a pronounced dry season in the early months of the year and a lengthy wet season that dominates the rest of the year. While you can expect the driest conditions from January through March, rain still occurs regularly during this period with limited sunshine.

As the weather warms and becomes increasingly sunny from May through July, you will find these to be the sunniest months of the year despite the strengthening monsoonal influences that keep rainfall common. From August to October, you enter the peak wet season and typhoon-prone period, where high humidity persists and heavy downpours are frequent.
