Xinyi
Introduction
Xinyi is a county-level city in Jiangsu province, administered as part of Xuzhou. It sits in the far north of the province, where Jiangsu meets Shandong.
That border position shapes how you reach it and what surrounds it. Linyi in Shandong lies to the north, Lianyungang to the northeast, and Suqian to the east and south. Use these neighbouring cities as your reference points when planning a route in or out.
Three days in Xinyi
Day one: Start in Xinyi itself, a county-level city in Jiangsu, and get your bearings before ranging further out. It sits within reach of Xuzhou, Shandong, Linyi, Lianyungang and Suqian, so it works well as a base for the days ahead. Use the first day to settle in and explore the city at an easy pace.
Day two: Head towards Linyi, one of the neighbouring places within easy reach of Xinyi. That gives you a full day away from your base without committing to a long transfer.
Day three: Turn towards Lianyungang or Suqian, both of which lie within the same cluster of places around Xinyi. That lets you close out the three days with a different direction from the one you took on day two.
