When to go
You can experience four distinct seasons in Quzhou, ranging from hot, humid summers to cool, dry winters. If you visit during the plum rain season in June, you will encounter peak humidity and increased rainfall as the Asian monsoon arrives. The summer months of July and August are characterized by high heat and humidity, with August offering significant sunshine despite the possibility of typhoons blowing in from the Pacific Ocean.
During the winter months, you can expect chilly, cloudy conditions with drier air and occasional snow. This season provides a stark contrast to the humid summer months, offering a cooler atmosphere for your visit.
