- VIA Rail Canada operates intercity trains that stop in Brampton as part of a route connecting Sarnia and Toronto.

When traveling between systems, you can enjoy a free transfer from GO Transit to Brampton Transit by tapping your Presto card or credit or debit card on both systems. If you travel from Brampton Transit to GO Transit using those same payment methods, the Brampton Transit fare will be automatically refunded to your account at the end of your journey.
Your fare allows for two hours of travel, which includes changing buses within the system or transferring to local public transit in Milton, Mississauga, York Region, and Toronto. If you choose to pay with cash, request a paper transfer to use as a receipt for other systems; however, note that these paper receipts are not accepted by the TTC. For those using a Presto card, credit, or debit card, your transfer information is automatically tracked when you tap on, including for travel into Toronto.
