Most of Travel Wiki is public content you can read without an account. We collect:

Account information — if you create an account (for example to save a trip in the trip planner), we store your username, email address, and the trips and preferences you save.
Usage and device data — like most websites, our servers and analytics record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring links, to keep the service secure and understand what content is useful.
Cookies and local storage — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as language and light/dark theme), and measure aggregate traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; some features may then not work.

How we use information

To provide and maintain the site and your saved trips.
To understand which destinations and guides are popular so we can improve our content.
