Dundee

South Africa

Dundee is a coal mining town located in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, situated in a valley within the Biggarsberg mountains. It forms part of the Endumeni Municipality in the Umzinyathi District and is notable for its abundant coal deposits, which have historically driven the local economy.

The town's population is smaller than that of Sibongile, an adjacent township that has experienced significant growth and expansion in recent years. Sibongile continues to develop with new residential zones, including the area of Lindelani, reflecting the broader development pattern of the region.
