Port Vila, often referred to simply as Vila, is the capital and largest city of the nation of Vanuatu. It is situated on the island of Efate within the Shefa Province.
As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 49,034 residents, which accounted for approximately 16.3% of the total population of Vanuatu at that time.
