Orange is a town located in the state of Virginia within the United States. It serves as the county seat for Orange County.
The town is situated approximately 28 miles northeast of Charlottesville and 88 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. It is positioned just 4 miles east of Montpelier, the historic plantation and former home of James Madison.
According to the 2020 census, Orange had a population of 4,880, which reflected a 3.4% increase from the figures recorded in the 2010 census.
