Manila is a small town located on the northern edge of Daggett County, Utah, just south of the Wyoming border. It serves as the county seat of Daggett County and is situated at the junction of State Route 43 and State Route 44.
The town's location provides access to several notable outdoor attractions. The Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and Flaming Gorge Reservoir are situated just east of Manila, while Ashley National Forest lies to the south. The forest includes Kings Peak, which at 13,528 feet is the highest point in Utah.
