Huntsville is a city located in the East Texas Piney Woods region of the United States. It serves as the county seat of Walker County and is situated along Interstate 45. The city functions as the center of the Huntsville micropolitan area and is included within the Houston-Galveston combined statistical area.
As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 45,941.
