Kingston is a city located in the state of Tennessee within the United States. It serves as the county seat for Roane County and is situated approximately thirty-six miles southwest of Knoxville.
The city is part of the Harriman, Tennessee Micropolitan Statistical Area. Geographically, Kingston is positioned adjacent to Watts Bar Lake. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 5,953 residents.
