Ravenna

Ravenna is a city in Portage County, Ohio, United States, and serves as the county seat. Located 15 miles (24 km) east of Akron, it is part of the Akron metropolitan area. The city had a population of 11,323 at the 2020 census.

Founded in 1799, Ravenna was formed from portions of Ravenna Township within the Connecticut Western Reserve. The city was named after Ravenna, Italy, reflecting the naming conventions of early settlers in the region.
