Glenville is a neighborhood located on the East Side of Cleveland, Ohio. It serves as a residential and urban area situated within the city's eastern geographic boundaries.
The neighborhood is defined by its proximity to several notable landmarks and neighboring districts. To the north, it borders the streetcar suburb of Bratenahl, the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, and the Lake Erie shore, which includes the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve. To the east, Glenville borders the suburb of East Cleveland, while the neighborhoods of Hough and University Circle lie to the south.
The western boundary of Glenville is marked by the St. Clair–Superior area at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in Rockefeller Park. To the northeast, it meets the Collinwood area at East 134th Street.
