Mesquite is a city situated in the northeast corner of Clark County, Nevada, in the United States. It is positioned adjacent to the Arizona state line and is located approximately 80 miles (130 km) northeast of Las Vegas along Interstate 15.
The city sits within the Virgin River valley next to the Virgin Mountains in the northeastern portion of the Mojave Desert. As of the 2020 census, Mesquite had a population of 20,471 residents.
The area is characterized by its growing retirement community and features several golf courses and casino resorts.
