The Municipality of Princeton is a borough located in Mercer County within the state of New Jersey in the United States. It was officially established on January 1, 2013, following the consolidation of two previously distinct entities: the Borough of Princeton and Princeton Township.
According to the 2020 United States census, the municipality had a population of 30,681 residents. This figure represents an increase of approximately 7.4% from the combined total of the two former communities recorded in the 2010 census.
